CONS
- The plant was build near residence area Radioactive exposure risk
- Waste disposal problem Waste will be stored in accordance with Malaysia’s regulatory requirements.
- Probability of radiation, groundwater, atmospheric and river pollution The refinery site is swampy, unstable, and subject to monsoonal flooding which raises major concerns for radioactive waste disposal.
